All of SALT Nigeria programs emphasize proper focus, community action, and the necessity of disciplined savings. We interface all of these with efficient and regular education and teaching. And of course, we believe that following Jesus Christ in everyday life is essential to true success. Biblically sound teaching and discipleship are fundamental elements of our program.
SALT Nigeria is supported by Brethren Hope for the Nations from Ohio, United States. We are committed to the people of Nigeria and our programs are focused on poverty alleviation and empowerment of individuals thru teaching and discipleship.
As Biblical truth is key in understanding and apprehending God’s intention for our lives, SALT teaching upholds the authority of the scriptures and we believe that living according to God’s word is the key to success. Our staff are committed to teaching high-quality lessons from our curriculum concerning business, finance, and personal life with a purpose to enable people to live successful and fruitful lives.
We began our first few savings groups in early 2017 and we have grown to more than 200 groups and over 6,000 clients today. Living Hope Vocational School was implemented to provide job training to orphan and disadvantaged youth and is a growing opportunity.
